Welcome to my webpage. I am based in London, UK, where I am currently an Associate Professor of Operations & Technology and Marketing & Analytics in the UCL School of Management, University College London. 

I conduct research on topics around innovation and entrepreneurship, have published in the top academic journals in operations management (e.g., Operations Research, POMS, MSOM), marketing (e.g., Marketing Science) and decision analysis (e.g., Decision Analysis). More recently, I’ve applied my research to develop innovative methods to automate spend analysis for large scale procurement practices using natural language processing and machine learning. I am broadly interested in applying artificial intelligence and gathering insights from data to promote transparency and accountability in operations to improve the sustainability agenda of businesses (SMEs to listed) and impact society.

Prior to joining UCL in 2010, I earned my PhD in Decision, Operations and Technology Management from UCLA Anderson School of Management, an MS in Electrical Engineering from UCLA, and BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and BA in Applied Mathematics from UC Berkeley.
